Car braking by itself. Triggering sbc fault
My car had sbc pump gone bad, it felt like the front left was braking by itself then the sbc fault came on, lucky the second brake system works. I changed the pump yesterday but it has the same issue. Two different pumps and the same issue... I don't have a clue as to why this is happening. A guess is that the front brake pads are squeaking like the are done, like metal to metal, I wanted to change the pads after fixing the sbc.. guess is could it be that they changed the sensor but not the pads then the car is braking more or less and then thinking it's the sbc? Any other idea? The new sbc pump sounds loud like when it's on the bleeding procedure then the red sbc comes on. Park it a few hours he the fault is gone until I drive it.
When I drive it without the fault it stars to shake like when you are braking and pads/disc are not aligned but in this case I don't even touch the brake pedal.. so it's deft braking by itself then triggering the sbc.

well in the das I saw that where it show the fault it said to fix it there, so he press the start and proceed to bleed... is there another way to program a pump? this is a pump with a different part number than the previous, but this is the correct one for the car, i search it with the vin and this is one of the few compatible with my car.
tomorrow i will go again and check what the codes say now.
just ideas for tomorrow as i will have the das connected and the mechanic.. something else to look for?

Seems like it's solved.. Changed front pads which were worn to the metal plus the sensors were not installed correctly.. Also the central gateway module was replaced by the previous owner and had different coding for a 240, mine is a 320, so the sbc pump and other features were not communicating correctly, nonetheless I' going to get a new central gateway and program it with my vin. Hope the sbc last 2 year at least.
