Hello everybody I have a 2004 mercedes e320 w211 195k miles the car is in very good shape I'm moving to Chicago in 5 days and I'd like to know what I need to check on the car and how often i should stop before hitting the road any advice and suggests are very appreciated

Check your oil when you fill your gas tank.
Stop before your tank is empty.
Drive happy.

If your car hasn't left you stranded for many thousands of miles in the city, it is doubtful that an easy 2K mile jaunt on highways will cause issues.

I would make sure there is air in your spare tire and that you have your jack and everything you need to change out a flat tire is in the car.

Maybe check the voltage of the battery.

you're right it has never left me stranded in the city thanks for the advice !
