2009 e350 sport vs luxury?

Hi, is there any real major difference between the sport and luxury model? Exterior looks to be the same? Im looking at a 2009 e350 luxury but this one looks exactly like the other 09 e350 sport model that i was looking at a few weeks ago. Exterior wise, its the same correct? Only difference might be the suspension and interior? I want to know since the luxury model is within my price range.

The sport styling is different. I've ended up with the sport package because you normally don't find a loaded luxury one. It's very rare to find a luxury model with the P2 package. It's easy to tell because the luxury model without P2 won't have the headlamp washers whereas the sport model had headlamp washers even if it didn't have the bixenons.

Here is some pictures of the car, I honestly can not tell the difference between luxury and sport model (exterior wise). I know that for the older year, there is a difference in the exterior but i think for the 2009 model, its the same look on the outside?

When optical differences might be hard to notice, sport models are coming with lower-profile tires, where 1" difference on rim size makes quite difference in ride comfort.
Either way, you are buying used car with limited budget, so you don't have the luxury for being picky.
I was seeking white diesel and ended with black one. Still great car.

Nothing in the ad says it's a luxury model. Are you just going off the "luxury" sticker the dealer stuck in the window?

The car you posted also has headlamp washers.

Just search for the options you want the most, I only go for the mods that can't be installed later (keyless-go and pano roof) aside from that everything can be added.

Aside from the wheels, I think practically every option that you could add afterwards would cost more than just finding a car that had that option. Parktronic, power trunk closer, real leather, bixenons with active curve illumination, folding rear seat, etc, I don't think any of those can be done cheaply. I think the only cheap mod may be distronics, didn't seem to be that many parts involved.

Also the sport package had headlamp washers as standard equipment. The luxury package didn't have headlamp washers, but if it had the P2 package (bixenons and keyless go), then the headlamp washers went with the bixenons. Most luxury models didn't have P2, but to be fair, P2 was somewhat of a rare package so it was just hard to find in general.

The one you posted looks like a 2009 with the AMG Sports Package, a little different from the regular sports package. amg sport package has a slightly different front bumper and 5 spoke wheels. regular sport package has those sort of chrome fins around the fog lamps and 18 inch 16ish spoke wheels. Like probably 90-95% of all facelift w211 sold would be sport package because it was a $0 option I believe.

Definitely not a luxury package, luxury package visually will have hidden exhaust tips, different front bumper, 17 inch wheels, and non LED brake lamps.

Also a point mentioned above about real leather, i believe all 550 came standard with real leather, 350 with mbtex.
