Last I hear MB recommends only Techron additive, what is added to Shell fuel.
I never ad any additive, with rare exception of diesel kleen when I go to cold climates.
Never had a fuel-related problem in last 20 years, when CA switched to double walled tanks at gas stations. Than CA is adding lot of environmental stuff to the fuel for generations, so even buying gas at discount places you still get some cleaners in it.
Nevada is mostly selling California refined fuel, but I am new here.

Just concerned, a couple of times, when veh. parked over night, --back out garage, re example to start snow shoveling, approx. 1 hr. later to pull it back in garage, get blue smoke. Got new network of spark plugs done, approx. 5 months ago. Just thought, injectors fowling. Thanks.

Blue smoke from the exhaust is usually from motor oil getting into the combustion chamber that enters from worn or damaged piston ring(s) and/ or worn valve seats. Does the engine consume an abnormal amount of oil? How many miles on the car? Was the vehicle a former taxi? Lots of engine idle hours on those. You may want to post on the S class forums as it looks like that's your ride.

I've used it and never had an issue. My friend uses it in his GLK 350 and has also never had any trouble. I think you will be fine.
