Airmatic disaster please please help!!

I was changing out a bushing in the rear of my car tonight and accidentally punctured the airbag spring (airmatic). Now the rear of my vehicle is low. Is it safe to assume that puncturing the airbag will cause the rear of the vehicle to fall and not inflate??

Pleeeease help!!

Is this a serious question? You poked a hole in it and now want to know if that's why it's not inflating? Why would it still hold air with a hole in it?

Fair enough! I thought it was just a protective cover (like on steering rack and inner tie rods) and the height adjustment was internal like the front strut.

Any chance I could repair the hole? Kind of doubt it and expect to replace the whole thing. Sigh..
