no heat need help 05 e320

hello i have a 2005 e320 with almost 200k that blows cold air so far i have replaced heater valve,auxilary heater/water pump ,i have checked all fuses,no heater codes,switching settings i hear the doors change and flow goes where directed so i assume all heater door operations are correct.only thing i can think left is flushing heater cores or replacing unless i am missing something please let me know if anyone has had this issue and possible fixes thank you help apreciated

it does not overheat everything is great at operating temp all hoses are warm/hot to the touch.i would think the thermostat would cause overheating,different temps through out the cooling system and the engine coolant would not have flow.wich mine has flow.thank you for the reply i will give it a try and see what happens thanks

could be stuck open. what you are thinking is when it is stuck closed

also, your heater hose is fine considering the coolant circulates. if it was clogged anywhere, the excess pressure would blow off somewhere/leaks

so changed the thermostat still cold air blowing after its completely warmed up.only thing i can think is heater core is plugged.unless there is any other ideas.is it common on MB to flush heater cores.i know i have flushed hundreds of ford taurus heater cores thats standard on those.i have never had to on any mercedes .thank you for the help

ok would like to say thank you for the help everyone.i noticed upper hose was staying cool wich it did not do before replacing thermostat so for the hell of it i decided to return thermostat and exchange for another one since ive already tried several things and the upper hose staying cool made me think this is not right.and waala the heat came back so it was the thermostat thank you for the advice.i have heat its not as warm as other vehicles heat i have around makes me think its not 100% but no biggie its blowing warm and in this cold weather any is better than none and way better than blowing cold like it was.so a big thank you to all for the great advice and help.i am going to post in the correct forum for the 96 e320 i have here that is blowing cold out the drivers side and hot on the passenger side figured since you helped me with the 05 no heat.i would pick yours brains any ideas. i havent had a chance to dig into yet im thinking something with the blend doors or control switch.but you guys on here might have come across before and can get me pointed in the right direction.thank you again for all the help appreciate very much
