Fuel Filler Cap Polarity Change 1 & 2 Relays???

I have an 03 E500. Does anyone know what the 2 yellow relays (kG & kH) in the trunk on the driver side call Fuel Filler Cap Polarity Change 1 & 2 are for?

Konigstiger- Thanks. Btw, do you know how the fuel pump operates? Having a start issue on my E500 (see my other post).

i cannot seem to find anything but the relays on my WIS but i am probably not so facile with it.
does it mean that that lump encapsulated in grey soft foam at the back of my car (it's a wagon) is just a reservoir for a pneumatic lock on the fuel filler cap?
thanks!

That would be the dynamic seat pump, if we are talking about the one at left rearmost corner.

the wires (not ground or power) seem to go to the relays that are the fuel tank cap polarity. my fuel tank seems to open regardless of any circumstance. are there alternate relays for e63 w211 wagon?
