Which Benz do you recommend for under 20k

I am coming from my 06 e320cdi, I am looking for something newer with new features. What do you guys recommend for that price. I myself was looking at a 2016 e350 rwd with 36k, I don't know much about these cars just yet but I wanted to ask your opinion on the matter and see what some of you might have to suggest. Thanks!

Mercedes-Benz S430, S500, S600, and E320 CDI
My goodness, why would you want to get rid of an E320 CDI? Those things are great! I've got an '05 and will likely never part with it.

But if you do, my neighbor loves his 2013 C300 4Matic. He's taken it on several road trips of about 1,500 miles round-trip and is quite impressed with its performance. He's said it's pretty low-maintenance, overall, just regular upkeep (brakes, engine oil, that sort of stuff). Indeed, he went from a 2004 E320 gasoline car to this C300, so he's in basically your situation. You might likewise consider taking one for a drive and seeing if you like it.

When I agree with cowboyt that E320cdi have great engines, the cars become outdated.
When you are coming from good diesel, slim chance you will be happy with gasser. At least not at the fuel pumps. Go for E250 Bluetec.
That might give you keyless go, updated headlights, live traffic and cameras.
Just get a scanner who can read DPF values.

ah okay gotcha, well I will have to rethink buying a newer veh, I really didn't look much into the new diesel bluetec because they all use DPF and whatever new emission stuff they have on them which is something I didn't want to deal with. The reasons i want a new one was for features such as all the blind spot monitoring, cameras, bluetooth, etc. I may also just keep maintaining mine and keep driving it. No major issues with mine as of yet.

I think with ScanGauge delivering gauges for DPF we've got upper hand on the issues. Also now we have several $150 scanners who can force DPF regeneration.
Still DEF heater can become expensive item when it fails, but newer gasers have their share of high-end "maintenance" issues as well.
Than again, more and more tuners offer DPF and DEF delete, when there is no such tune than can delete direct injection, who gum-up gasoline engines.
Blind spots drive me crazy as I like to change lanes with short distance, but still having electronic "grandma" watching over your shoulder can't be bad thing?

well I think i will stick with mine, from the little research that I have done I do like the power and specs with mpg that those 250's put out with a tune.

Do you happen to know what is leaking here on this side of my engine? I know where the leak is coming from but I don't know what this is called, it has a metal gasket on it.

That looks like intake manifold, but post the question in diesel section, where more of 320cdi owners are coming.

I have a 2005 CDI and recently bought a 2016 E250. The E250 is a turd. 40mpg...but I don't feel safe passing folks. Wife wanted AWD so it had to be the E250 ($30K CPO) but if I could...I would have done the Bluetec 6 with RWD.

Did you try to drive it with ECO mode off?
When I played with my E250 after the purchase, it would burn wide tires on dry asphalt.
Than trying hard cornering, I managed to take it sideways.. dry asphalt, but could be some sand on it.
Obviously there is no match for OM642 torque, where I had to baby it entering freeway ramp, or I would loose traction any time any day.
But OM642 comes with 20% fuel penalty and high cost maintenance. Bot desirable choices, but I am buying Mercedes brand to not spend time under them.

Yes, I have tried with the ECO off and set to Sport...
