W211 2Din X30 8.1.0 head unit fermwear!
Hi guys!
I'm new att this forum so bear whit me
I am trying to update my Android head unit w211 PX30 8.1.0 whit new firmware!! Not easy🤔
I haw no soundover on GPS or Bluetooth, writhing is connected as it should, but still no sound from Bluetooth??
I suspect its the software!
I need help finding the right software for my unit!
Please help🤔

See below. THe PX30 software in here.... you have a GS (MTCE_GS) unit so that's the software you want.. Put the update and dmcu file on a thumbdrive or SD card if you have an SD slot and the unit should automatically prompt to do the update, but you can go to Settings --> system and there is a place to update the software (update.zip) and the hardware firmware (dmcu). It's pretty easy.

You also can dig in here for real help if that doesn't solve your problem. There is support in here for PX3, PX5, and PX30 models, so you just make sure you only search for PX30.

Hi I am trying to update the head unit no luck!
I've downloaded the firmware and formatted the usb stick to fat32 unzipped the file to the thumb drive and the head unit can't boot it can't find the files, the usb thumb drive is installed and it blinks!!
starts to reading and stops? What am I doing wrong??🤔

If it's the update file, that should stay as a zip file.... update.zip is what it's looking for. It'll unpack it during install. The dmcu file I don't remember it's format, but it's not a zip file.
