Finally Received My New 19" Wheels
After what seemed like forever, I finally received my HRE's. Many thanks to Harris at Harton Motorwerks, and his great service.

Looks good!! Wheels are fantastic!! By the way, where did you purchase your chrome exhausts and rear deck lip spoiler? They look great also.

Thanks everyone.
Moa4r,
I really liked the AMG's, I just wanted 19" wheels, and ones with some Lip on them. The AMG's are sure easier to clean, however.
Mattar,
I had to wait 2 1/2 - 3 months. It took a while, especially since HRE is a little backlogged.
Paulhu,
I pieced the exhaust system together. I posted it in this thread.

As for the spoiler, it is the MB option one. I believe the one on formymercedes.com is the same one for a great price.
Thanks,

Thanks. I was really close to getting the brushed aluminum (I know everyone orders them in this style), however, I have never seen them in person so I'm still not quite sure what they look like. Over the net, they appear kind of unfinished. Hence, I went with the silver. Hopefully, when I do see brushed aluminum in person, I won't regret it.
As for the sig, I know I need to update it. It took me so long to have all the other cars clean at the same time for the last signature pic. (as well as keeping my little kids inside), it may be a while to do it again. Someday.

Thanks Lionhead and W211 Ryda,
It is actually not as low as the 1st picture indicates. The other pictures are more indicative of the actual height. My home is on a hill which made the first picture seem lower. I liked it though for the picture.
Hey Lionhead, did you ever change your exhaust. I did record the sound of my exhaust, but I never sent it. When I tried it out on my little laptop speakers, it sounded horrible since the speakers (or the mic?) could not handle the low frequencies. I did eventually play it over my desktop speakers, and it sounded better, but still overpowered the speakers (it could have also been the lousy mic from my laptop). I could send it nonetheless.

You definitely feel the road more with the 19" than the 18". It is not bad however, and nothing is bonejarring to say the least. When hitting bumps, you don't get that "clunk" sound. Of course, I haven't hit a speed bump at 40 mph yet!
Those accustomed to the real isolated feel of the MB might not even like the 18" feel let alone the 19" feel. The ride of my porsche with bilsteins, H&R springs, and 18" wheels is way worse. Compared to that, the E500 with 19's is more than luxurious.

Looks good. I got the HRE847R wheels in brushed finish... I love them !
I find the HRE's are much eaiser to clean than the AMG's and the HRE's stay cleaner as well.

Awiner,
I love that picture of your 847 in the box. I wish I could have seen the brushed aluminum somewhere. You would think I would come across it somewhere in the Bay Area.
Lionhead,
Upgrade to the e55 What is the C6 roadster??
Anyway, can you shoot me a pm with your email address. I thought I had it, but I can't find it right now.
