Anyone know what the Dealer cost of the 3YR Extended Warranty is?

Or, what is the lowest price you have seen it sold for?

The reason I am asking is that they are going to sell me a warranty for cost plus a small processing fee.. So I want to see if they are being straight with me.

If I remember correctly, my dealer told me around $2.8K. May I ask how much your dealer quoted you?

I bought the best MB extended warranty I could get or there was. I think that it was about $2400 but I actually got an offer to buy it for $1,790 (I just checked the receipt). I keeps cars for a very long time, so I think that will be recovered. My dealer was Glauser Mercedes, they moved from Sarasota, FL to Westminster, CO. I think I got a smoking deal.

I paid $1500 for my extended warranty, and if I dont use it I get my money back. I bought the warranty from House of Imports on the E320. I just got an extended warranty on the E55 for $1800 from Laguna Niguel.

I have 2003 E500 and I think i paid roughly $2,000 for the extended warranty... I got it from Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach, CA

This is great info guys.. Due to problems I had re: another issue they offered to sell it to me at $100.00 above cost, so this will help me out quite a bit.

I have a 2001 e320 wagon that the factory warranty will expire in 200 miles. I bought the car from an individual not factory pre owned. What are my options?

Mercedes will only extend the warranty if the car's original warranty is not expired! If you want a MB warranty, you better get it soon. It is also cheaper to warranty a car that is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

If you go over your time or milage, than you have to get a 3rd p[arty warranty.
