722.6 Transmission pan leak
After changing transmission fluid, oil started leaking from the transmission oil pan. I drained and put in 6 liters of ATF what could be the problem over tightened bolts on the pan or overflow? (Torque Converter was not drained)

So I forgot to ask for some reason but, why do i need to turn it 180 degrees after the 4Nm what does that do exactly why not just put it whatever Nm it's gonna become after the 180 degree turn..

I guess it gives more precise clamping force. I've been on a trade for past 16 years, and back then instructions had mostly just Nm values. Along the the way, they started to change to Nm and degrees.

Sorry to bother you again but if I drain the torque converter how much fluid will I need? do i just put 6 because that's what happened when I took it to the mechanic he just drained the pan and refilled 6 liters without draining the torque converter.

Man the situation with this car is really weird i changed the transmission oil pan, gasket, bolts, the retainers for the bolts and it still leaked even tho only from one bolt which is the middle one on the passenger side idk what to do after this... i even changed the electrical connector it got new o rings on and everything i did the 4nm and 180 degrees but stlil leaked still from the bolt immediately after putting in new fluid... any suggestions other than getting rid of the car?

Out Of Control!!
i am very confused------- you say you have a 722.6 but you have been given torque specs for a 722.9------if you have a 722.6 the bolts are different and only have to be torqued to 8nm if you have a 722.9 the bolts are different and must be replaced and then torqued to the specs you were given-----google threaded connectors fasten using a tightening angle

I kinda got confused by the exact torque spec because in every website different one says 14 nm the other 7nm or 4nm with the 180 degree... But if it is actually 8nm then I will reach the bolts and torque them to that and see what happens. I've got the 722.6.

No leak?
Quick update, so one day after my latest reply It seemed like the leak has stopped completely and when I went under the car I found just a small patch of dried oil on the bottom of the pan closest to the passenger side middle bolt so I cleaned and I checked again today everything seems fine, I checked with the dip stick and it is definitely overfilled or maybe I'm dipping it too much not quite sure but I will keep an eye on it and check the level again. (As far as I know The transmission needs to be at operating temp and the car on when I dip the stick so correct me if I'm mistaken.) Thanks for the help everbody.
