The oil separator may just be the fuel filter top left of engine compartment. About a $25 to $50 part. two hose clamps and one screw to loosen. The hose clamps are click type (and replacement should be with the same type or high pressure fuel hose clamps.

I have a 2008 e320 Bluetec.
I changed my transmission fluid in the 7 speed and also the torq converter.
What FSS do I enter to let the car and future owners know that the transmission was serviced?
My booklet says 20 but there is no option for 20 in FSS.
There is a WSS option 16.
Does anyone know what that is for?

I got a Service F light and passed +60 days of the scheduled service. Mine is 06 E350 4matic wagon with 125K. I did following jobs myself. Now how to turn that message off?
- Replaced transmission oil
- Replaced transmission connector
- Replaced engine oil and filter
I will send you VIN thru pm.
Thanks

I have seen the W211 instructions posted but thought they changed a bit year to year.
Many thanks. From the service sheet, it looks like #20 would be the one for servicing the tranny fluid.
But, from the FSS that's in the car, I do not have a number 20 as an option to select.

The highest number that I can select is number 16.
Your sheet shows number 16 as not applicable.
Anyway, does anyone have any ideas why my FSS doesn't show number 20?
Maybe I need to get an updated firmware for my car? I'm guessing that when the car shipped they did not think replacing the tranny fluid was going to be needed but later they advised to change tranny fluid...
