Steering Wheel Shakes?

Steering Wheel Shakes?
I just purchase a 03' E500 Sport from my friend and it has 27k but I notices when I'm driving from 25-50mph the steering wheel starts shaking alil, like is vibrating. It seems to be ok once I'm up to 60mph but everytime I'm driving in that speed range its shaking.
Does anyone here know what might be wrong with it or had the same prob?

I have vibration on my 05 at 40 to 60mph. Two different dealers said it was out of balance. Problem still not fixed. It may be the Conti's. Switching to Michelin's PS2's when they wear out..

I'm on my 2nd set of wheels and 3rd set of tires, as well as "camber bolt" dealer mod. still pulls to right. I'm gonna lemon it if they cant fix it.

I believe this is an alignment issue. I recently had a new set of tires installed, was offered an alignment test (but declined), and I noticed vibration in steering afterward.

All of the possibilities mentioned are very possible (except the alignment). Bad alignment would not cause vibrations at slow speeds, but if it were bad enough to make the car shake, the car would not even come close to running well on the highway.
One thing that needs to be looked at is that there might be a bent rim. You never know, all it takes is hitting a huge pothole or clipping the rear right tire when turning. A slightly bent rim will give you the "out-of-balance" feel.
Tell us what you find out; luckily my car is fine with both sets of summer or winter wheels/tires.

Also, look for a stuck rock in your tires. This can weigh the same as a balance weight and throw it off..
