Drive Dynamic seat resets on own
Does anyone else experience this?
Also, does anyone know how the Level #1 and Level #2 customization settings, via the steering wheel menu, differ from each other?
The same thing happens with the passenger seat.

I had always thought that the seats turn themselves off if you move the seat electrically from its memorized position, fooling the car into thinking someone else was now driving & the new driver would turn the seats back on if they wanted it on, and that is why when you press a memorized driver button they go back on. Maybe it is linked to "key dependancy" being turned on or off in set-up.
Once again, not a hardware problem, but crappy, obtuse, software program writing combined with poorly written technical information in the form of owners manuals & service manuals. No one's quite sure what the engineers had in mind so its tough to say whether the feature is "Working as Designed" or not, so lets delete it... so MB will be going backwards to sturdy, safe cars with few bells & whistles.

Less lateral support and slow air pressure build-up in the air chambers of the backrest side bolsters.
Level 2 - Sporty
Strong lateral support and fast air pressure build-up in the air chambers of the backrest side bolsters.
But the driver's seat comes on everytime I start the car.
BTW, what do you think of the convenient to see location of the LED " DD seat on" indicator light?
Mine turns off in what seems like a random pattern. Maybe my wife drives the car and resets the seat and that turns it off. I'll have to test that out now.
