some of the interfaces can be self-installed. we provide full instructions with pictures. The starter is dealer installed only. We also have dealers in every major city that can do the installation.

Here is another one we just finished up: Its the Smartkey Starter installed on the new E550 Sedan with the Shifter on the column. Also we just finished our direct interface with the new DEI responder remotes which allow for really long range.

I like the valentine integration. I have a few questions though. Where did you place the actual V1 unit? How about the display of arrows and the strength bar? Or is it basically just telling you how many bogeys on the cluster dislpay?

The cluster display shows all of the info from the V1. If you look towards the end of the video you will see an alert. The arrows point front or back (or both for side) . Level ranges from 1 to 8 and is the equivalent of the signal strength bar on the V1 and then bogey details the number of bogeys. (in the pictured laser alert of course bogeys dont show up but you can see other alert examples if you go to the "see more videos by:" section)

Question: have you found a way to get V1 to work with Distronic? I have standard V1 and had to disable K band detection to prevent it from going off constantly.

Now to answer some questions:
Distronic Plus: If you have a W212 E with distronic plus and wish to retain most of the K band, we have an interface available for your vehicle but it is designed to work with the passport 9500ci (the high end installed detector). The way the interface functions is by determining the overall frequency at which the detector unit is alerting and then comparing that to the known frequency output of the distronic sensor array. This allows full detection on X,Ka and 60% detection on K Band. The name of the interface is 9500D212 for anyone interested.
V1 integration: The V1 interface connects inline between the V1 power block and the actual V1 unit. It has the standard RJ11 jacks so you simply use the same phone cables;one from the power block into the interface, and then one out of the interface and into the V1. You can additionally add in the remote volume knob between the power block and the interface if desired which allows both the V1 and display interface to be powered on/off. There is a CAN lead that plugs into the interface box and then is routed to a CAN distribution block located in the passenger side kick panel area. You remove the kick panel and pull up the carpeting to reveal the wiring duct and inside the duct is the CAN block. You simply plug into the block. Interface model is V1W212. The V1 interface does not void the vehicle warranty and in fact almost all of our products can be removed entirely without any indication that they were installed if you ever have warranty concerns.

We can already enable most of these from within the Engineering Menus. Of course, just enabling the Hybrid menu, won't make ur engine a hybrid, lol. The bluetooth streaming works fairly well, though.

I dont see why you cannot list the pricing. You are a forum sponsor. Pricing info shouldn't be much of a secret. Interested in the Video in motion. Is this a software hack or does a peice of hardware need to be installed?
