Comfort Suspension on E550

I just bought an E550 4 matic and have been for the most part unable to use the Comfort suspension. For some reason, my suspension keeps switching back to Sport even after repeatedly switching it to comfort (which requires turning the car off and on). I am wondering if there is something I am missing (some other button or something somewhere) or if this is an issue I need to take the car to the dealer for.
Thanks.

Switching back and forth between comfort and sport shouldnt require turning the car on and off. First - you should have a free trial of the technical assistance service (the button in the overhead console with the phone and the wrench on it). I'd press that button first to see if they can offer any suggestions. Failing that go to the dealer.

Definitely a glitch, go to the dealer. It is probably just in need of a software refresh...

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try the two suggestions and let you guys know what happens. I wonder if it has something to do with the comfort access memory or something. Everytime I start the car it now starts in comfort but after a few seconds of driving it switches to sport suspension 99% of the time (but not always).
Thanks again.

Here is an update. Called MBrace, no real help. Took to the dealer, they ran diagnostics. Error code in one of the struts. They played with it a bit and decided to replace the struts. Will wait for the part to arrive to see if that fixes it. A bit dissapointing that a brand new "luxury" car would come with defective struts.
This whole experience is making me lean heavily towards buying an extended warranty since I am still within the first 30 days.
Will update if the strut replacement deals with the suspension issue.

I just had the suspension air pump changed, the car now runs great. It sucks, I have not had the most reliable experience but I am reserving some judgment.

After 3 days the rear would be slammed to the floor. It would be cool if I could do it by command, but this was not Turns out the check valve in the pump was faulty....

Still driving my own E550 which drives just fine in constant sports suspension. Will turn it and get a loaner when the part arrives probably friday or monday.

Smart to reserve judgment. I am upgrading from an acura which had a recall on the headlamps, trunk wires and some other minor thing. Also, the struts needed replacement at about 40 or so k while still under warranty. But after that, it ran perfectly until I sold it at 108 k miles when I bought the E550.

It just may be that the things wrong with the car are more likely to show up earlier than later. Still struggling with the decision on the extended warranty as it runs about 3500 for extra 2 years 50k.

Body in the trunk is still there...

I did happen to beat the ever loving sh*t out of the car today. I was angry, not really, but I treated her like I was. I floored the gas more today than the last year combined, I took corners at 110 that said 30mph, I hit 130 a few times, I spun the rear out 55-60 degrees 5-6 times. Yes, it was one of those nights. I can say in the state I was in I BEAT THE SH*T OUT OF THIS CAR and she loved me for every minute of it. It was my way of strapping her down and punishing her for what she put me through but it was worth it, I do feel some love. We will continue this relationship for a little while longer. It seems this car needs to be punished from time to time to remind you why you are driving it....

Hahaha, that's amazing.

Careful though, I've been known to take some turns past my limit, totaled a car due to it in fact.

You gotta teach them who's the boss, otherwise they'll lower their struts at you just to **** you off.

Ok. All fixed (for now?). They replaced the strut. Would have cost me 1700 if it weren't under warranty. Made me bite the bullet and get the extended warranty. Since MB prices their warranty by class, if one has a semi-loaded e550 4 matic it is probably not such a bad deal (with all the airmatic suspension/etc.) since it costs the same as a warranty on the base E350. Will let y'all know if any problems.
Btw, love the comfort suspension on the car.
