E550 blk/blk Window Tinting Recommendation
I am about to tint my 2010 E550 4 Matic Black/Black.
Any recommendations or pics of window tint grades?
I am thinking about going with 28% front 18% rears.

do you want it murdered out? thats what it will look like. for me i personally would go 40-50% cops don't bug and i don't know what the legal limit is in missouri.

Careful: I tinted my black Chrysler 300-C in the past - it looked great, but it destroyed AM reception, and reduced FM, as the antennae was embedded in the back window, and the tinting there fouled the signal reception. Drove me crazy trying to listen to a ballgame or a traffic report on the radio...

Window tint
Well, it would be better to check first the current tint law in Missouri. I got mine tinted 35% front and back and 30% on the door windows and I'm really happy with the outcome. In the state of Missouri, front side windows limit is 35%. No limit on the rear sides and back window.
I went with 35% front and 28% rears on my 09 911. It was too light for my taste. I will post some pics of the tint on the E550.

I decided to do 50% on sides and 20% back rear only from esthetic point of view. I have nothing to hide inside of my cabin and I just like how this car looks with slightly tinted windows if you look from the sides. Another reason was - you will never have any problems with cops if your tint is 50%, because you can see everything thru.
On the other hand - if you look from the front, especially on not sunny day - you will not see a thing inside because of 20% rear tint.
AM reception is fine. Tint does not have any effect on it at least in my car.

1. Go to "manage attachments" and upload your pics
2. Click on the yellow logo with the mountain shape in the message box. This will prompt you to attach the URL address. The http address is the attachment address that you have just uploaded.
