Representing the Dark Side - dropped (BLACK) 550
I would have posted closer to when I actually got the car, but the wheels took three and a half months to get here... I suppose it was worth the wait.
Big thanks to Rick and Devin at wheelwarehouse (Anaheim) for ordering and installing the wheels... Serge at Hyevon (Huntington Beach) for the precision drop...(vic 55 for sharing where he dropped his 63)... and steve at All Points (Redondo) for the tint.
Still contemplating the smoked tail lights. K-A pointed me in the right direction, just not sure if i want to do it yet.
The wheels are 20's, 9s and 10s. (Work GS5s)
Tires are Vredestein 255,30s and 285, 25s
Drop is a little less than 2 inches (guesstimate) by way of Star prep and links.
The ride is totally fine (live in socal) with the 20s and the drop.
I hope the pics are attached. First time doing this...

Looks great Ryden!
You know what, looking at your car, I'd probably recommend against the smoked tails. With black, I kind of like the contrast with red tails, otherwise there's just a bit too much black.... Unless you're going out for the "black everything" look.
Those wheels look good too, like an OEM quality look, which to me is what makes an aftermarket wheel look good on a car.

Slap some black rims on it and you'd get a replica of what Darth Vader would drive on his Sunday drives I like it a lot; it looks very nice

The OEM look is exactly what i was going for. Just wanted to go old school with the clean look, reduced gap, and flush stance.

Funny, I stated how I've been literally honked at in my car (IN Socal, mind you) and thumbed-up, which is pretty surprising. However, what you describe happened the other night, I'm driving (in a nice part of town, as well), and a Honda or Toyota starts driving alongside me. I start thinking "this mf-er better not try something funny", and at a light, I finally glance over (windows were up, and black), and I see a car full of people gawking next to me, then they pull up, so the people in the back can gawk.... WTF?!

I'm definitely getting a lot of stares. no gawking, but lots of stares.

Thanks, all. And sorry about these crappy pics. I think i need a better camera.
Here are the offsets:
Front: 20 X 9.0 +40 R-Disk 5-112 44mm lip (1.73")
Rear: 20 X 10.0 +42 O-Disk 5-112 79mm lip (3.11")
Work Gnosis GS5 - Burning Black finish (looks silver most of the time, but more black when rolling.)
Wish i could say exactly how much it was lowered, but they kept fine tuning the height... i lost track. I'd say approximately 1.75 inches. Great stance in person. The pics aren't quite doing it justice.
Interior is black on black.
Best,
Ryden
