Video in Motion
Distinguesed Members-
I know this is an old topic and I hate take up space with redundant post's - BUT, has anyone got any new current information on the W212 Video in Motion Modules out there. Mid City in Chicago wants 400, Found a place in Portugual for 160, another vendor on e-Bay told me he was going to get some in soon...is this the same unit? If you own one, do you recommend them. Any other viable options. Anybody do the install themselves? Thanks!!!

Philly, you remember that unit that I bought and tried to sell back to you? That was not a mid city engineering unit, It was actually a unit from portugual i think. The member who bought it installed it successfully i beleive.

Bruins are 7-2 so far and Tim Thomas(goalie) looks like the old goalie that he was.

I must say that even though I used to work for the Flyers and they are my #1 team...I am a closet Bruin's Fan. #4 was simply THE best!!!

Here's an item from another thread located here at mbworld.org (Media Interface PLUS while driving! )
Never heard of it, looks different, but it sounds like it functions like the other Video in Motion devices we have all been discussing. Does anybody have experience with it? Thoughts (other than "don't get one" because of the obvious safety issues)? Thanks.
Here's the product...

I ordered it but wont be able to install it till I get home for R&R in 2 weeks, whenever I do I will make sure to do a full review/install guide with pictures for everyone. I know smartTV mod4cars makes some pretty decent products and from what I have seen in the install directions you dont even have to take the dash apart. Its available on amazon too.

I ordered and installed the mods4cars module on my 2010 E63. Installation is easy once you figure out the correct wires to tie up to. It is also invisible and can be turned on or bypassed at any time from the steering wheel. Nice product.

Was the connector with the twisted pairs of brown and brown/reds hard to locate up the CAN / under the dash? Any other hints would be appreciated. Thanks!
