Now all you need is a "MB" banner to put across from your Lexus banner in the garage! :-)

Thank you for posting, great looking car!
I'm new to this, so I'm hoping you can help. When you say special order, do you mean these are "designo" colors, or is there a separate special order pallette for interior and exterior colors that you can get without going through the designo process?
Thanks again for posting!

I guess thats two questions?

MBUSA introduced a new Special Order program last year which allows you to order certain options, colors and interior leather and trim choices that are available in other parts of the world, but not normally in the U.S. There is a fee of $250 for any Special Order car and then you pay per option (but there is only 1 Special Order fee charged per car and then you can order as many things you like). For example this Cuprite Brown with Chestnut Brown leather car that the OP bought only had 1 Special Order charge of $250 and then a charge of $720 for metallic paint and $1,620 for leather. You can get some Special Order options at "no charge," meaning that there is only the $250 admin fee, but the option itself is free, such as Aluminum trim on the E-Class.

greatly appreciated. I guess what I was hoping to learn was, where exactly can I see the extended color palette that is available for leather, and paint. I really like the chestnut brown the OP ordered, but I would like to see what else is available.
I assume this is in the same quality of leather that is standard for the cars, and if I want nappa leather, I need to order a designo package?
Thanks!
