Are you happy with the color of your W212?
White is the absolute worst followed remotely by black. A white car stays clean after washing for the amount of time it takes you to get in and turn the key.
you get used to it, just keep a bucket of sudsy water and a sponge in the trunk.

both my previous MB's (E coupe & C) were black too
Recently, When I started to look for my next lease I did the "tour of colours"
Hesitated between dark gray, dark blue, red, diamond white..., but just could not decide.. nothing seemed right.
So went for black again.. in the end I feel it suits the car best.
For the interior it was the same thing; looked at lighter colours/white leather,
but it's just a b*tch to keep clean.
so black leather & dash it shall be.

It is just dark enough to be a little maintenance chore, but it is unusual, I seldom see a W212 in this color, especially with a brown interior. For me, my favorite facelift W212 combo would be diamond silver or diamond white on beige, but you don't see those often.

I'll try to post pics when it's delivered this weekend.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

and when a friend of mine saw my (then new) car for the 1st time,
he said "hey nice taxi you have"

The colour is not even the issue here: in Europe most taxis are E class

it is insane to try and keep it clean......so I just look out for the bird poo and
hope the rain will wash away most of he rest.......
I gave up trying to keep it spotless about a week and a half ago, LOL......
but once more of the leaves are down, it should start getting better....

What came with the lighting pkg back in 2012? What is X pipe? Does plasti dipping the wheels lead to any peeling and chips? The worse thing ever is when i see a car with black wheels with the silver showing do to rocks, chips, and curb rash.

Plastidip is awesome! if it's applied correctly it should last a long time. I redo my wheels once a year just because the shine fades a little bit from winter abuse lol

Regarding full options from somewhere (I forget where I read it), I believe if a car has matte finish wood, the wood steering wheel wasn't available.
