Cool/Useful features that I didn't know about

BTW, re: Daylight Savings Time. May not be automatic as US Congress keeps changing the D@*% dates and also some places do not observe it.
Yes you get too used to it though.
On a cross country drive with a friend delivering a Ford Taurus to his Ph.D. student in California I was pulled over by an Oklahoma State Trooper and spent some minutes in his cruiser. He double checked our records and I read the price list of fines on his dashboard. The reason? When he came up behind me cruising at the speed limit and wanted to pass I only blinked once to change lanes, not for "the full 100 feet".

I wonder if the W211's or the W221's switch on their own or not.

2) if you have your radio muted and change stations the radio will become unmuted
3) if you have MBRACE you can send directions to your car either from the MBRACE app of from the send2benz website (http://www.send2benz.com). To retrieve it just press the i-button overhead and the address will be loaded up automagically on the headunit.
4) when the navigation starts to bug you with traffic jams and accident updates you have on your route you can just press the MUTE button to cancel all traffic condition information. I don't know how to turn this back on beside restarting the car. It sometimes drives me crazy when the navigation starts spewing out traffic condition updates every minute. I just cancel it and revert to the COMMAND screen to see where the problems are whenever I want an update of the traffic situation.
and a feature that was new to me:
5) when using voice command to dial someone you can do it in one step instead of two. If you want to call me you can just say "Call Pete Cell" or "Call Pete Home" instead of saying "Call Pete" and then wait until you got prompted for which number to call.
Thanks for this one. I will have to try it.

Hey, this car is pretty smart! It calls my friends at the pub, tells me how to get there, tells me how to get home from the pub, tells me if I start to cross a center line and pushes me back in my lane, maintains a constant speed, brakes if someone up fronts slows or stops, try's to get me to drink coffee when I need it, beeps if I get too close to stuff and tells me how to park.
OBVIOUSLY designed by those who love Oktoberfest!!!
(Sorry, I got on a roll and couldn't resist the joke!)
