Rear fog lamp

I've noticed that the GLK does not have a rear fog lamp.....

Does the W212, or more specifically the S212 have the rear fog lamp?

Is there a detailed spec-list for the Canadian S212 / W212 other than the not-so-detailed info on the website? There are so many options that I am not clear on whether they are included or not, e.g. adaptive highbeam assist?

this is a sales brochure - vehicles are generic, not specifically for that market.

I have failed to see the rear fog light switch on a S212 on a Canadian-tested vehicle (picture was posted by the reviewer (next to the rotatary light switch, there was one big button for the front only instead of two small buttons for the front and rear). Can anyone with an S212 model actually tell me if there is a rear fog light?

Is there a detailed spec list for that model ? (not the users manual as that contains all options whether the vehicle has it or not). After omitting the front and rear parking sensors, I would not put it past them for omitting the fog light as a cost-cutting measure - cheap comes to mind.

I am certain on this forum that most everyone knows when to use a rear-fog lamp. However, I have to say 99% of those on the road who have these have no clue when they should be used or that they even have them. Given the proliferation of LED brake lamps, it seems these are becoming unnecessary. How one could miss the rear of the 212 in even the most intense rain in fog is a complete mystery. OK, off my soapbox

True. However, we should never pander to the lowest common dominator.

The fog light functions - as you know- at a brake-light intensity; it really has nothing to do with LEDs at all even though those are brighter and better seen. If you drive in conditions where there are "white outs" or quite dense fog, you come to appreciate them. And as you can see from the picture below, while the driving lights have washed out, the fog light has not.
