I test drove the E350 4matic and loved it (I didn't dare drive a E550 because I knew it would be true love ;-) ...

Anyway the E350 had the fat 3 spoke steering wheel and my dealer had a couple of cars to choose from ... one is a 2011 sport with the regular wheels and one is the sport with the optional 18" twin spoke wheels ... when I check the MB USA website it says if you get the 18" twin spoke optional wheels then you get the 3 spoke steering wheel.

Do I need to go with the 18" optional twin spoke wheels in order to get the 3 spoke steering wheel.

Thank you in advance ... I really appreciate your advice.

Premium Package
Advance Driving Assistance Package
Rear View Camera (this was not included in the premium package for canadian E class)
Wheel Package (for some reason my car is missing the sport steering wheel, i only got the AMG rims)
The reason you don’t have the sport steering wheel is because you have the Driver Assistance package. Unfortunately MB doesn’t tell anyone this. Only the AMG website let E buyers know that the sport wheel is unavailable with Driver Assistance Package.

Hi- Does this really work? I have yet to feel / or notice any difference. Maybe I drink too much coffee.

Thanks...I don't want to derail this thread so I might start another to see if anyone has had first hand experience. Like I said...I've got over 8,000 miles on mine and have NEVER felt it engage?

Yeah, it works. However, it isn't that effective IMO (I'm still very glad to have it).

It's never beeped when I've been tired, although I haven't been tired enough to start swerving. However, if I'm fiddling with something, and (LIGHTLY ) swerving during a long drive, it'll beep at me.
