Looks very clear. I just want to confirm. You're using these tires on a 4matic?

Looks amazing. Technically though, the suspension isn't stiffer of course, as it performs the exact same, there's just less cushion coming from the tires, making the actual ride feel more stiff.

Car looks downright mean, luxurious, powerful and purposeful. Also, those would be my choice for aftermarket wheels too, as AMG or AMG style wheels look so amazing on these cars.

Those look great. Out of curiosity you mind if i ask what they set you back? I am certain that if i bought those i would smash them in a pothole on the way home.

I think like $745 shipped...

All you have to do is be pro-active about watching and dodging!

Let me tell you that the build quality and finish is damned good for the money.

Very nice. Those wheels give the car an all new look. I love it.
What's the width of the wheels?

No, actually they are not. After 2012 with electronic brake control and active stability management it is even more important for proper rolling diameter.

I never said word "staggered". As a matter of fact I use(d) or seen staggered set up on W210, W211 and W212. None had any issues.
Having said that, they all used equal (or close) diameter tires. Your setup is a full 1/2" difference front/rear. Sooner or later, your drivetrane will have a problem and they will not fix it under warranty. But as long as you're happy, that's what counts the most.

Yup - very happy...as I said, not worried.

Rear wheel width is 9.5, front is 8.5.

Will let you all know when I have a problem!

You're missing or just choose to ignore my point. Its not the wheel width, nor the tire width - its tires diameter front/rear. But this was addressed here in details recently and I do not want to start an other discussion here again. Everyone is entitled to make their own decisions as long as the information is out there.

This is correct....at least with other AWD setups from Audi, Subaru, etc. I would think this would be the case with MB as well. In any event, I am going to assume that the OP researched this out on his own and with MB and all is good. Looks awsome and I hope it continues to run just as well for a long long time.

So there is something about your car that took me a while to figure out lol.
You car is black, so is mine. The only difference (I initially thought) was the wheels.
But I couldnt figure out why yours looks so much sexier than mine. lol
Very nice job on all your mods.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

The new look is growing on me more and more...

To those of you who have discussed issues associated with staggered wheels/tires, I appreciate your feedback and am by no means ignoring your input. That being said, I posted these pictures to share with the forum, not to be made aware of what I have already considered from a technical standpoint.

As I said the first time, I am not concerned with those (potential) issues after a bit of my own investigating.

Cheers!

It sounds like you are happy with the end result -- I would be too based on what I see in the photos. Where did you order them from?
