Yeah, I agree that the lines throw it off. I am definitely keeping the roof wrapped and not going back to the white top (just don't like the look), but I will probably just finish the job at some point and get the rails and fin painted black. I'm sure it shouldn't cost more than $100 or so. Just gotta make sure it's a color that matches the wrap.
BTW, does anyone know what color/color code M-B uses for all the black trim on our cars?? Like the glossy B-Pillars, the black area on the rearview mirrors, the black roof racks on Pano cars??

I mean the roof rails and the shark fin (painted on Pano cars). Yeah Piano black might do it. I wonder what exact color M-B uses though? I was thinking maybe their own flat black color they offer on cars, but it might just be piano black.
I've actually come to like the rails being left white on the frontal view of the car, it gives it a beefier look IMO with the thicker A-Pillars, especially after I compared this car and my 2010 Pano side by side. Where it just doesn't look right is in the rear, where the white roof-racks stick out like sore thumbs.

MBWorld Fanatic!
The roof looks great IMO. Just because it doesn't look exactly like what a Pano roof would look like doesn't mean that it doesn't look good. If the we had never seen a white W212 with a Pano roof then no one here could say that the current wrap that you have doesn't look awesome.
The shark fin and the roof spoiler on the other hand can be summed up in one work.... "Awkward."

Lol. I agree. I don't mind for it to look a bit different from the Pano, so that's why I'm leaning toward keeping the rails white (it looks a bit different at least, and I like the look from the front, but not as much the back), but the shark fins gotta go black at some point.

Thanks SRPE! Actually this spoiler is an OEM spoiler that came with the car ("Spoiler Package"). However, the one on my 2010 I got as aftermarket I liked a lot as well, even though the fit wasn't as tight as the OEM wing. My last 2010 E's I got it from "Gnarly Autoparts" I think they're called, it cost under $200 and came painted, and the wing was actually a replica of the E63 wing, so it looked a tad more aggressive, yet maybe not as clean (extremely similar in look though).

Cool man, enjoy! You can't go wrong with either, although I can personally vouch for the styling and quality for the Gnarly one.
On a side note, I have gotten SO many compliments in this car, more-so than my 2010 even. It seems that everyone who's attention gets caught by it (or anyone who knows me, who walks up to my car, etc.) gets a very enthusiastic impression from it.
Though, I keep getting people having the impression that it's "fast", as everyone asks me "that thing must be fast?". I think it's the black front diffuser and the AMG wheels with the black roof that give it that impression or something.

No, the wheels on K-A's ride are 18" AMG wheels made for the w212 E class. Your C class AMG wheels have same appearance but are staggered and have different offsets.

Yeah, they're the AMG Wheels on the W212 "Wheel Package" Option. Really nice wheels IMO.
Actually, I was wondering if they were the same wheels that come on the W204 C's upper wheel Option as well, so they're not SixPack? I was hoping they weren't, lol.

Hey K-A do you have any other photos of your taillights?
I started a thread on tinted taillights but received no replies (as expected because I have just started posting in the forum...), I'm looking for ideas on tinting my taillights.
Thanks

Hey!
Hope you don't mind K-A, but I took one of your photos and tweaked it a bit (not the best quality, I know). I added a black grille (not completely black, though) + a tint on the mirrors. Personally, I'd let the car just be as it is, clean & simple.
... Just had to see what it would like.

Whoa dude!! Thank you!! Lol. I was wondering how my car would look with a black grille. Yeah, I definitely like it the way it is right now, although it does look cool in a different way, with the cars setup. The chrome is always my first choice for a Benz Sedan face, but I think with the blacked out diffuser, the chrome grille actually has an even better contrast up there now.
MBCLS: No prob, actually between my two W212's, you can get an idea of how both styles of tinted taillights look (my old one had the red part tinted and the white part left alone, and my new car has the white part tinted and the red part left alone).
Check out this Thread for pictures of both cars (old car is in the beginning, new car with the new tinted tails is later on).

Peet, yeah I notice these ones getting a little dirtier than my last standard W212 Sport rims on my 2010, and it takes a little while longer to get clean (those rims were the easiest rims to clean and maintain ever! And they never really got dirty to begin with!).
I just wipe it down with a wet/damp chamois (then proceed to dry it) regularly enough. If I'm washing the car, then I just wash it like the rest of the car, etc. No special tricks I don't think.... Well actually, the trick is to not let it get too dirty to where the dirt starts baking on the rim.
And Vivid: Haha, thanks and yeah I unfortunately know that, lol.
