Ok. I just found this thread. Benn away for a couple days. WOW does that look sweet. PLEASE post some close up pictures. Now I'm gong to have to do it on mine! Really looks good K-A. I think it might look better than real CF. Congrats.

Thank YOU Enzo! I will definitely post closeups asap. Yeah, it looks so flawless on there and the 3M materials is seriously CF like. I'd say it's the most durable and simple way to get that CF look on those panels.
There's also a company that offers CF laminated-gloss veneers that stick onto the pillars, which look great, and are real CF, however fitment probably won't be as flawless as they aren't fully flexible/ultra thing vinyl wrap, and I heard from some Members who had them on C-Classes that they will eventually fade away.

Nice! Great to know.
Yeah the 3M CF wrap is such an impressive material. In look, feel, touch, and how incredibly dynamic it looks when it plays with different kinds of light.

really does look nice.
think I may be keeping my arctic white and getting brave with mine too.
Love the front air dam too. took me a while to figure out exactly what was different. Pro job on that part?

Thanks man. Yeah, I had them wrap that a while back. It's a bit tricky as there aren't any grooves to lead them, so I just had to make sure he lined it all up right.
Haven't driven my car much these past few weeks, in and outta town and Renting cars lately for the trips (fyi, new 2012 Focus is a GREAT car), but took it out today and enjoyed the CF look over there still. I will say that my only drawback still is how matte it looks in low lighting.... matte B-Pillars look cheap, but when you get a glimpse of the texture, it just looks really high end. It would be PERFECT if it could somehow stay glossy looking under low lighting.
The car looks super sporty now, with the CF, the air dam, spoilers, the AMG wheels, and the taillight smoke all working together. Kind of odd as I keep preaching this as a Luxury Car, but it's just how mine ended up looking, not really a calculated move. The demeanor of the W212 is so stately and luxury that it kind of has a dual personality now, which makes it so fun to look at.
My 2010 on the other hand was a much more monolithic and class look. No wrap anywhere, a real Pano roof without the white contrast of the upper spoiler and rails and antenna, the normal Sport wheels, that are very simple and full-faced/elegant in comparison, the red parts of the tails were smoked instead of the white part like on this car, etc. This car gets some more compliments than that one, though, which is to be expected with its more aggressive appearance.

I realize I didn't post any of the ones I took in dim lighting during those same "sessions". Here you go. Judge for yourselves (gives you an idea of the dramatic difference in shimmer when under different lightings):

Your E is absolutely amazing, no doubt. Was just showing this to my friend, and he went "WOW!" actually. And CF wrapped B-pillars, very nice touch. Can't seem to remember seeing that myself IRL actually. You must certainly get a lot of looks when riding that machine, haha!

Thank you much! Very much appreciated! Glad you guys dig it. Yeah, it definitely stands out I feel. I've always loved when E-Classes which are understated in nature have just that extra pizazz to at the same time be head turners.
