A couple pics of my 11 E350 4m
I only have about 40 miles on it, but I swear this car is more buttoned down than my 2010. It feels more solid, quieter, and rides much smoother.
Just doing some driving around, it seems the V6 again is more than adequate. I'm not looking for a race-car....but an engine that works that doesn't rely on high pressure pumps and turbos.
I did change tire pressure...from the dealer they ranged from 33 to 38. The normal load on the filler door was 32/33. Inside the door was 35/42. Whoaa. I settled on 34/36. I have a highway ride tomorrow and some city potholes to experience, so we'll see.
Homelink was the easiest yet of all my MBs. Only 2 tries! iphone set up first time, no problems. only thing is i have some moldy HVAC. I might have to get this checked.
The rear sun-shade goes up and down much smoother than before. Maybe MB made some enhancements...but then again 40 miles isn't enough to judge. I'm hoping I don't have a rattle-can again.
Cheers.

Nice! Great pics.
Did your 2010 have Conti's or Pirelli's, and which does your 2011 have? Did your 2010 have Pano?
My 2010 had Pano and Pirelli's, and my 2011 has a fixed roof and Conti's, and I said the same exact thing that you did. It could all be in our heads, but I feel like my 2011 might be ever so slightly smoother over rough patches, but hey, it's got 8K less miles than my 2010 did.

Thanks guys.
My car is a 3/11 build, and doesn't have the new center LCD screen. I took it on a 200 mile round trip today on some pretty nasty roads. Mostly construction interstate and the urban roads were potholes. felt pretty solid, only one rattle coming from a trim piece near the headlight switch. i hate rattles.
i might take the pressure back down to 32/33.
no pano roof on my last W212, and no pano on this one. i'm not a fan of sunroofs to begin with. my car does have the contis on it, which do seem to be more compliant than the pirellis.
for a highway cruiser, it's pretty comfortable. gotta say though, for all-around driving i think i like my ML better--much better visability.
but, that's an SUV and this feels much more like Benz.
i hope to gosh my car doesn't develop rattles. did i mention i hate rattles?
danke!

I too have an ML and an E, 2010 for both. What a difference between a German MB and an American MB, just because it says MB doesn't mean its equal. As far as rattles, haven't noticed any yet.

my 10 W212 had tons of rattles that were never fixed. my 09 W211 wagon was fine--great build quality.
found another loose part...the left arm rest is loose near the door edge.
grrr.

Grau, I found some weird little initial quality issues with my 2011 that my 2010 didn't have. Very little stuff (smudge inside one of the rear taillights, window regulator on the passenger side that made weird noises when operating) that were both fixed, although my brand new car had to have a couple pieces torn off by techs in order for repair. Also, the center console design on the 2011's is flawed, as the crack doesn't shut tightly enough for it to block out the bright LED lighting at night (fixed with some felt, and it's as good as the 2010's unit now).
On the other hand, my 2010 had some un-diagnosable issue with a "squeek" sound when in idle and in gear, which a tech said was the injector rails making noise or something. Seems to be fixed with the 2011's.
I guess it's a give and take. All in all, thankfully the issues have been extremely minor, as it could be HPFP failures or ghostly/wandering steering (BMW ).
