I was looking for this topic and glad found it
Well, here is my input about accuracy of the indicator . It is working very well

The image shows what happened yesterday right after turning off the audible amber warning during my driving .
Long story short , when I parked my car I visually checked all the tires and all of them seemed up to notch . However, my mind was not easy because of that tire pressure warning
Today , I checked all the tires by gauge , fronts were equally 30 psi (34 psi my last inflation ) , rear left 26 psi and right rear 32 psi
Both rear tires were inflated 2.5 bar , equally 38 psi .
As you see right rear lost pretty high air , I don't know why but I think it was what triggered the warning message .
So, what I don't see is normally you should be able to view pressure readouts for all the tires but mines don't show them anymore , I dunno why

So, moral of the story please check monthly or every 2 weeks with your tires are cold and if you see an audible warning about tires please do not ignore it

I find that the monitor is consistently off by 3-5 PSI even after resetting the monitor several times.

However, it may be that this is within normal operating parameters as the monitor may not be designed to be precise, but to only be a backup/failsafe to accurate manual monitoring.

Would be interested in other opinions.

Thanks.

Mine is extremely accurate - so much so I am thinking about installing a similar system into my race car. I use a very expensive and accurate tire gauge and it is spot on with my sensors.

Mine appears to be fairly accurate. I have pencil type and dial type gauges and they agree with each other. The TPMS in car is usually within one lb. or so of what my gauges show. But that is after driving for a few minutes. Sometimes the TPMS TP's will be the same for both tires, but not too often. Never more than a lb. different though.
My car has different TP's for front and rear.
I do check my tires with my gauge at least every two months.

I have both digital and dial gauges, TPMS is always within a pound.
