Just Bought a New E Class! (w/ Color Display and Sirius Weather)

I've learned that the venders online here will say just about anything to get our dollars.........buy and beware.......MOD and beware......
I would never dump money into a car I had to give back......
leasing has always seemed really dumb to me.......it isn't yours you know?
but I doubt those leasing ever come to that realization......
kind of like a house: sure you live there and mow; but the bank owns it.....
I'd still rather have the new 4.5 though, but hey, we can cling to our little areas of supremacy!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I got the car with 8 miles and a MSRP of $55,350 or something like that for $47,000 out the door and $399+ $35 taxes/month for a 24 month lease w/7500 miles/year. I'll probably drive around 12,000 miles, but I'll just pay for the additional miles at the end of the lease.
I was going to get a 2012 C250, but got a great deal on the E350, so when my ordered car comes in, I won't buy it. In my eyes, the only things I lost were the new steering wheel, Blind Spot Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Bixenons. Hey, I still got an E class, which is WAYYY NICER!
Can you share what dealership you got your car?

However, if you look at my original post, you can see that the bottom is no longer cut off and that the instrument cluster is a full circle.
Otherwise keep in mind the biggeast caveat with the MSD Leases is that they are not combinable with subsidized Money Factors. So although it worked out well in leasing the E BTC, not every car will work this way, and not everyone has the extra $5,000 to hand over for a few years. Any model with MFs in the mid .00100's or lower, the math will work better taking advanatge of the subsidized rate. And you get to keep your cash liquid (and riding the rollercoaster of the market like everyone else).
Congrats on the new EClass--I've owned 4 of them and love them all!

AKA, if you're over on mileage, don't just wait until the turn in date.
Or, if you do wait until the turn in date, go to many Dealers and find one who is aggressive enough to "write off/swallow" your overage in miles, in order to get you into a new car. I've heard of people who've had about 20K miles over, find Dealers who would "eat them".

I was the first customer in 5 years to use MSD's when I leased the e350 last month. You are correct, MSD's sometimes don't work as well as "subsidized rates"...but you have to run all the numbers to see what works the best....it's a mistake to just accept the dealer's assertion that MSD's are a bad deal or 33 months is the best deal.
Where there are no subsidized rates, MSD's generally pay you an effective yield of 10% or more on your money. I guess you have to decide if keeping that money in the market or elsewhere is a better use of that money....I kind of like a guaranteed 10%.
you can place an order for the 4.5 manual (brochure # P-6515-6912-13) through the Customer Assistance Center. Please call 888-454-9906 to connect with them."
I suggest that those with comand 4.5 get a copy of this manual as well as the updated voice manual which I am still trying to locate. BTW, the first 2012 e350 at my dealer came with the incorrect comand 4.0 manuals, so at least some 2012 buyers will most likely need to order this manual as well.
