Bumper Plugs to fill holes in front bumper from license plate removal
Anyone know where to find the bumper plugs to fill in the holes of the front bumper on my W212 E350?
I want to take off the front license plate frame and want to hide those ugly holes in the front bumper

I live in a one license plate state and there are no holes or plugs in my front bumper....so you most likely have to find some after market ones, if they even exist.

The worst is when a dealer puts their "dealer ad plate" on the front. lol. I have seen that on so many MB's, BMWs, etc. Just makes me laugh. I hate dealer badging of any kind.

I'm with you guys. I just ordered my car from a dealer in NY and getting it shipped to FL. I specifically asked them before I signed, to make sure they DONT put the front plant on since I dont need it down here.
Lets see when i get the car next week. Keeping my fingures crossed!!!

Same here. Both times I got my New E's, I told them immediately to make sure no holes get drilled in the bumpers. I don't care how sweet the deal was, I would have walked with holes in the bumpers. It's enough that rock chips will be inevitable, but at least you can fix those with touch-up paint.

Yes, one of the problems getting a car from another dealer is those holes...even in states with one license plate. it's one of the reasons I bought the car they had on the lot.

Thank you very much.
Yeah, I can put up with imperfections happening while on my watch, as you just gotta make due with it, and just try to stay on top of fixing them, etc. But getting things like that, off the bat, on a New Car, just sucks.
My old W211 I bought Used, and it had 6 holes in the front bumper, not to mention paint warping behind where the plate was. Best I could do at that time was have regular screws put in, and I asked the Dealer to put touch up paint on them.

I live in Illinois where its state law for front plate. None of my cars have them and I've never been pulled over. (Yet)

i hate the front plate but have to follow the law . i used to remove the number plate and put the emblem plate instead which is better than no plate. i got pulled over a few times and told the cops the same old story. no ticket but getting tired of doing the same thing over and over again. now i put my front number plate back but put couple tinted covers/shields on .
