I think CF goes well with some cars and others, not so well.

Sorry but making CF is not easy at all. You can try, but then you'll just come up with garbage low quality parts that don't fit and delaminate in a few months, not to mention a dry cough from inhaling all that resin. If you want it done right contract someone with experience and an autoclave.

Hehe sorry didn't mean to come off not relaxed. But honestly making FRP or CF parts is like trying to build a motor after watching a video. You can try but I can almost certainly guarantee the results won't be good the first few times. Experimenting if you have time and money on your hands is one thing (and who knows you might be doing formula 1 stuff in 3 years!) but if you're doing this to save money it's definitely not worth it. Additionally there are health hazards to the materials involved.

My suggestion is if you really wanted a CF part to partner with your local fiberglass bodykit company and invest in a tooling (and perhaps a group buy!)

well, never said I was going to try it, as if I have time for that.....
just thought some of the CF fans might enjoy seeing how some of the steps are done, I know I enjoyed learning a bit......
but I can't support that "oh my god, you wanna do THAT" additude you know?

we can do whatever we want (we put our minds too) know it sounds cheesy and hackneyed but it's true
