Hey duders,

Got a 'zine subscribtion to this savory MB mag.....
also was suprised to get 15% off at Brooks Brothers,
20% off hotels, resorts and spa's, and 5-50% off at sears, like I'd ever shop in THAT ****hole, (bad experience lol).
Thought it was pretty cool for only a 35 dollar subscription......plus I'll get that nice magazine too....
Anyone else already getting this?

peace

Was thinking about it. Heard that you get discounts form the MB dealerships as well. I don't shop much, but for $35 not bad.

clmulli, yes, the $1000 discount on certain MB models makes shopping for a new one more interesting. And 10% discount on MB OEM parts.

Great publication. Lots of information. After 1 year you are entitled to the $1000 off certificate on the purchase of an MB.

I've been a member for a month. The rewards are VERY nice! Plus the Magazine isn't all about modding and stuff, it's more history and learning about new cars coming out and things. Actually pretty cool.

The discounts are pretty extensive too. I think it's totally worth it!

I'm a member. The magazine alone is worth the price of the annual dues.

You get 5-10% off parts, service and accessories from participating dealers as well as $1,000 off a new E Class after belonging for at least a year.

If you live near a local section, there are frequent events. There are also regional and national events.

I just participated in a regional event last weekend in Albuquerque during the International Balloon Fiesta. We got special access and participated in a car show on the Fiesta grounds.

Regards,
Don

Where did you find a $35 subscription...it's $45 to join for a year on their site.

As a MBCA member you can place a free classified with 250 characters and a photo in the magazine and on the website.

The magazine is printed on heavy stock, approx. 112 pages, 6 times a year and a good read.

Well worth the $45 per annum.

Been a member for two years. Worth the $45 per year. Also get membership in a regional club and some are very active. Magazine has technical information which is sometimes useful. Also has a website with information on it.

Question related to MBCA

If one orders a Mercedes for European Delivery while a member does the one year continuous membership rule apply to the date when the initial order was placed at the dealership or to the date when one gets the keys in Germany?

You have to be a member for a year before you can get the certificate for the $1,000. The certificate is good for 60 days, IIRC.

The club recommends that you get all your negotiations out of the way, then print and present the certificate to the dealer for the added $1,000.

So to answer your question you need the certificate at the time you contract/pay for your vehicle.

Don
