New Shoes for 550
Hi guys:
Hope all is well in your woods:
ended up with a whole new set of tires(Michelin PS3's), and two new wheels (Mandrus Manheims 18x8.5)
had two wheels that will now be yard art, and one is actually bent!
so I need to buy one more! might as well get two more huh?
no sense in having ONE old wheel on there........
My car was out of alignment pretty bad........but after the service my car is pulling right REALLY hard.....seems the front right end is dipping a kunt hair too
....could it be a strut? any input or insight would be of value.
Many thanx!
Oh, one more thing: had a cylinder MIS FIRE too........the orange engine light came on and everything.......but after re keying, it went away.....BUT DID STORE A CODE!!! no more issues with it yet, but it was scary as chit driving with a cylinder out.........what is happening????

It was actually sitting for several days.....modded on monday-wednesday.....pretty much just sitting.......then drove home and it sat until yesterday when I finally got a chance(and the wheels) to get it fixed.......
do you think it was all that sitting?
on another note: I was driving my AMG all week.....and MAN, was that 550 sluggish, LOL..
it was unsettling to say the least.....heart palpatations! LOL

Wow, that misfire is some serious ish. Not nice to hear that. The sitting wouldn't do it. Your car should be able to sit for years and then start right up. I've had cars that sat for weeks, and they picked right up when I got back in, with some people going much longer than that.
absolutely KA....I have a truck and a volvo that sit endlessly, and they fire right up....but, have not had the misfire again since the first one....
and the car is on a heavy right hand tilt on or off....
gotta get to the bottom of this......wonder if flashing something would help.....airmatic maybe
it seems I'm being plauged with issues as my amg has one too with it's
suspension in the rear....keeps tucking in all the way to the tire...might be a leak, taking IT in tomorrow.....
it raises right up when started, but the tech agreed it would be good to come in, being under warranty and all....oh boy, another loaner

Yikes, that sucks about the problems. Only problem with a lot of the added complexities of the V8's is it seems that they have some issues that pop up that the V6's don't. Hope you get 'em handled (I'm sure they will be).

Hype, Take the car to a good front end shop and have it really checked out. While toe settings can cause a car to drift one way or another, a really strong pull can indicate a caster problem. Caster is usually the cause of strong pulls. The nature of your pothole collision could have resulted in the caster being knocked out. Good luck in getting it resolved.

hmmm, that low overnight, I hope they replace the shocks for you. Happened to my car on the right side but my car was sitting idle for a week. happened only once, SA said it's "normal", waiting for it to happen again but hasn't in over 10 months.

hmmmmm.....I hope they don't have to replace anything, LOL......
could the 19's I just put on two weeks ago be a factor?

took 550 in today and turns out I damaged a leveling sensor.........causing my car to think it's leveled when it isn't.....450 bux!
that curb really cost me.....I've really learned a lesson here
