Opinion on these wheels

Since the E class is a fairly long car, I feel these "chunky" wheels will go well. I'm not sure what era these are from though.
I understand a 20" wheel is more for looks and you don't gain much else but lose ride quality, etc. I have 20's on our q5 (obviously they have bigger tires as well) and i love the way they look. The biggest thing that i don't like about the e350 is how tiny the stock wheels look.
While 20s will always look better, due to fitting issues on front of W212 of tires with high enough (safe) sidewall, IMO 19" wheels are the most appropriate (or max) for W212 used as a daily driver. Having said that, while 19" wheels cost about the same as 20"; 20" tires are actually quite a bit less expensive than 19" (go figure).

seems like EVERYONE has the five spokers, myslef included, but I have some
10 spokers on my amg that look brillant! and 2012's are coming with 10 spokers
too...(amg's)....it would look good and different from the rest of us if you got the 'full face'
wheels.........
the Vossens you mentioned(
) are a very good choice too........have some of those and love them....I really like this concave business
those cv1's look so good on my car!

make sure to post up when you're done!
CV3's are the 5 spokers. I'd go with either some good rep's of 19's or either Vossen's.
I'm hoping once the winter months are over, I'll be copping some Vossen's.
They should have some new design's sooner or later.
Those that run 20's, do you recommend a drop? I have a sport and have some h&r's on order

I like these as well. The problem is the offset. Many here say they won't work but the sit says they will fit flush. Anywhere else to get these with a higher offset or will these work fine?

Angular, yet smooth, no obstructed surfaces. Too many lines and heavy handed design elements on the W212 would look too cluttered/messy with full face wheels I'd think.
I get what you're going for with the classy wheel setup, and think it's necessary as people try and dress their classy luxury Sedans up as wannabe "race cars" too much IMO (not saying I'm totally innocent of this myself to any degree, I guess the contrast of themes is of certain allure). Personally, I think the standard Sport wheels (the 5-spokes that are relatively thin, but kind of "blade" up) are a good example of a classy wheel for the car, even though they still lean a bit more sporty. Maybe use them as a guide, and find some wheels that fatten up a similar spoke theme. I always loved that style of wheel. My friend had some Lorinsers that looked similar (thin-yet not too thin "blade" style wheels) back in '02 on his S500, looked very classy and still "sporty" yet not in that gimmicky wannabe way.
