Stolen mirrors
So some ******* decided to steal my mirrors last night. They got both side view mirrors. I havent been violated like that in years. Whats worse is the cost to replace them 1470.00 for both mirrors. I called 3 dealers in my area and all had them at the same price. I filed a claim with my insurance and will have to pay the deductable but its better then the full price. It literally took me 2mins to pop it back in so I could imagine how fast it was for these *******s to steal it.
Anyone have to replace their mirrors yet?

BTW this is one reason I keep my comprehensive deductible at $100. Hopefully i will not have use that again but it gives me some peace of mind that the maximum hit for me for vandalism will be $100.
Unfortunately all this has resulted in me keeping a second car when I drive to places that make it necessary to park in less than ideal places.

Sorry to hear that. They'll get theirs. Just recently someone robbed our business, turns out a couple of weeks later the same man attempted to rob another at gunpoint and collapsed and died on scene. Talk about karma eh?

Hahaha glad I can provide some good humor; I thought the same thing.
This is just an awesome story, I was overjoyed when I saw this broadcasted on CNN. The sport of MMA needs some more exposure as well considering people compare it to human dogfighting... But I'll save that for my posts on mmatko.com lol

So sorry Dbl A,,NY is sometimes not fair.Seems like this was some clown either working for a body shop out to shave $$ and charge a benz owner for parts..or a low life POS who happens to own a benz.The former is more likely than the latter.

Jees,,Im glad I have starlite video f/o my house,,,this could be a trend.Used to be the only thing you had to worry about was the Valve caps on the wheels.(lil bastages put them on their bikes).

The drivers side glass is the most expensive piece in the entire rearview-mirror situation.
One issue to owners from M-B sharing the exact same mirrors across their entire range of cars (other than blatant cost cutting and non individuality in that area) is that it makes all of our mirrors more valuable and prone to thieves, as they don't just need an E-Class market demand on them.

Thanks. Yeah its probably a glass shop looking for stock or a body shop who had a customer with broken mirrors. Either way, yes karma is a ***** and I'm sure whoever did this isnt anything but a huge POS and thats why he has to do this because he isnt smart enough to do anything else. I know not to park in that neighborhood anymore or at least for a long while lol...
