Aftermarket Wheels / Tire Tread Wear Question

Just wondering if anyone that knows about tire tread readings could help me out.

I have aftermarket 19's on my ride lowered with H&R Springs. Never got around to doing an alignment / camber adjustment...

So got my car back after Service A and it seems that they did a tire tread reading on my tires...

Left Front (Outside/Center/Inside) 6.5/7.7/5.7
Right Front 6.4/6.9/4.7
Left Rear 5.8/6.3/6.2
Right Rear 6.2/5.8/5.5

Seems that the insides are wearing a bit more than the outsides.

Should I get an alignment/camber adjustment done or is this just a minor difference that won't affect tire wear much? Other thoughts would be appreciated...

It looks like your alignment is out of whack.

Rule of thumb on lowering: Always get an alignment done immediately after lowering. Even without getting a camber kit, adjusting the TOE makes a huge difference for tire wear.

Every car i have owned in the past 15 years has been lowered. Good choice on H&R...their ride heights always seems to be perfect on every car, IMO

The tires that are high in the center are likely over-inflated. The ones lower in the center are under inflated. An alignment is critical after changing any aspect of suspension geometry.

Typical to lowering especially when not aligning and getting camber kits.

It is very much a problem. One time to Vegas, in my old lowered car (same thing you did, springs, no shocks, alignment was out of whack and no alignment shop seemingly "could align a lowered car" and some "normal" lowering-camber), the inner walls got eaten up so much, I had a blowout while going 80 or so. Fortunately it wasn't a disaster in any way, aside from being stranded in middle of the desert for a couple of hours, having to call everyone in my family at 1 AM to see if anyone has Triple A, waiting for Triple A to trek down to the middle of the desert, riding home with the Tow guy, having to get the car towed to a new tire shop the next day to buy tires, etc.

Don't you mean that the other way? Overinflation leads to higher wear in the center while underinflation leads to increased wear on the outside and inside - unless by"high" you meant higher wear etc.

lol....yes....sheeesh...I meant just the opposite. Tire inflation will will cause the type of readings he is seeing.

yes...always get a 4 wheel computerized alignment done after suspension changes. By the looks of your numbers, you got negative camber and/or toe in. The oddity is the left rear, which indicates its either positive camber and/or toe out.
