Look on line at California Chrome Wheels. They have the real AMG wheels chromed. I can personally guarantee their quality and customer service. I did a core swap with mine because I had the AMG wheel package, but wanted the chrome ones. They will sell you a set out right, with no swap if you want.
Also, I don't know what else you had in mind. This is what I have/am doing to my 2011 E350 Capri Blue Sport Sedan. I have added chrome to the "B" pillar, chrome trim to the tail lights and chrome trim around the edge of the side mirrors. I am also installing red caliper covers and a sprint booster. That will be too much for most folks on this forum but just wanted to share some ideas. Good luck with yours.

I would highly recommend that you skip the red caliper covers. Car guys will make fun of you. A much better idea would be to paint your calipers if you wish to go red. G2 makes a quality caliper paint. Purists would recommend a big brake kit.

I can't say that I've gone this route, but some members love a product called Sprint Booster that changes the throttle response curve, gives you the illusion of more power. Cheap and I would try one before I changed exhaust. Regards. Ned.

I knew my comment about what I have done to my 350 would get some of you guys sharing oppposing opinions. Please understand, "different strokes for different folks." My son is all about the "black" thing with his toy, '99 Mustang Cobra SVT, triple black convertible, black grill, black wheels...all black! He nukes me everytime I add chrome to any of my vehicles, and trust me, I do have a lot of chrome on most of them. I guess you could say that chrome is to me what black is to a lot of you guys, or what originality is to others. For me personally, I have no use for "all black." and definitely have no use for maintaining "originality." Hell, I even get flack from my wife about adding chrome to the Mercedes. She loves it on the Vette, and loved it on the H3 Hummer I had.
As for the caliper covers, I painted calipers on my first vette. Unless you get them powder coated, they pretty much suck after awhile. I do have red factory powder coated ones on my current Vette. They still look new after 40,000 miles. With the Mercedes, I wasn't sure how red calipers would look on the "E" so I chose to go a quick, inexpensive, easy to remove, if necessary, route. I am 65 years old, retired from the USAF and retired from the State of Alabama. I have owned 66 automobiles ( 8 Mercedes) in my lifetime. None of them were ever original when I sold them. I don't care about what Mercedes "purists" think, if anything, they should know I "dance to a different drummer," when it comes to cars.
I love you guys and I love this forum. More than anything I love the fact that we are truly different and appreciate different things differently. Being able to share those differences on this forum is part of what makes this world a great place. Have a great Mercedes weekend.

If you are ever around Montgomery, Alabama, give me a shout, I have a picture album of all 66 in chronological sequence. If you are interested, I do have a chronological list of them on my computer. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll be happy to share it with you. It's not like looking at pictures, but at least it will show the variety of vehicles I have owned. The list designates color and whether they were new or used when purchased.

Thanks BM2, sometimes I don't know if it is luck or stupidity. Some of those cars, I only kept 6 months. One thing to remember, as a young GI in Germany, it is easy to buy and sell cars among the GI population. Much easier than in the US. You basically have a capitive audience. I did spend 14 years in Germany in the USAF. This was three tours between '66 and '86.

I have installed the tail light chrome and it looks fantastic. It even looks like it could be factory. I was pretty impressed with the design of it. After I get the covers on, I 'll post pics of everything, including the chrome trim on the mirrors.
I fully understand I am in the minority when it comes to modding MBs. However, I am very comfortable in my own skin when it comes to modding any vehicles. I was always nuked on the Hummer forum because I wouldn't drive my H3 in the rain, much less take it off road. They were all about taking them off road into the mud, rocks, and woods. I had 100 times more chrome and mods on it than I do on the Mercedes.

Not necessarily in agreement with your mods, OJ, but I like where you're coming from on them, as it's obvious that you know your cars and have a direction/idea of what you want. It seems to me that you've had an impression made upon you by the glory days of cars (far yonder), when chrome wasn't some cheesy tasteless add-on that we see today, but was tastefully and VERY generously used on what are now Classic cars. From my gathering, you seem to want to recreate that with your E. I don't think modern designs work in the same way necessarily, but more power to you and I know your car must really stand out. I'd love to see pics of how it looks. A+ for variety at least.

I enjoy looking at the front end of your car. It looks somewhat cocky, bold, muscular, and beautiful with the oversized grill. Even hocky stick LED light look good. Mine is 2012 BlueTec. I have to try to catch same angle of the front end like you did.

Thank you OJ, enjoy as well!
And thank you Raymond! Yeah, I could just stare at the cars front for hours! The 212 has a lot of dimensions to grasp up front, and I love how they show up with even the smallest of angle changes.
