Angry My experience with wheelsnext.com

Hey guys,

Thought I would share my ordeal with wheelsnext.com

12/17- Placed order for TSW wheels and tires
12/19- called up b/c I had yet to receive an email confirmation. Was informed wheels would take a month to get in. I decided to cancel. Sales rep said no problem as my order hadn't even been processed yet.
12/20-I get an email invoice for my order.
12/21-emailed back the sales rep who sent the invoice. Explained I had already cancelled my order. Went back and forth over email and he said no problem and he would cancel the order and I should get a full refund within a couple days.
12/28- sent email asking where my refund was. No response.
1/3- sent another email asking where my refund was. No response
1/4- called and was told by the sales rep their accounting department was backed up and I should get my refund by the 10th.
1/18- sent another email asking where my refund was. No response.
1/19- filed a claim with my CC company.

I usually am pretty understanding with companies. I know it's tough to run a business. But the lack of communication on their part is what really pisses me off. They could at least have the decency to respond to my emails.

I will NEVER purchase anything from these guys again. I had planned to buy this set up in a month or two. My wife was furious when I told her I got some wheels. So that combined with them being out of stock, I decided to wait.

To bad I'm not the only one. I'm glad I posted then. Sometimes these things are isolated instances. It doesn't sound like it for this vendor.

Lol, ya most wives just don't get it.

sheesh, what a load! sorry to hear you had to go through this....
also glad to get feedback like this because it's an obvious reflection
of poor business.....and I'm always on the lookout for that as you may know....what do these people think? that they're doing something helpful
by making themselves look so dumb?

thanx for sharing this with us, hope you find something else good
and plus you get to wheel shop some more

my wife is completely chill about my car habits....

I'm not sure what's up with these guys. They have a great site and good prices. They have obviously spent some good coin on it and to drop the ball on stuff like this really pisses me off. I'm just looking for a little respect. Just an email update. I am very understanding with businesses as long as I can tell they are trying. These guys aren't even trying.

My wife would probably be ok if it weren't for the fact I have 2 other heavily modified vehicles. She thought i would just leave this one alone.

My mistake, I should have asked. It came across like that to me.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I looked into upgrading wheels and tires and ended up with TSWs and Michelin Pilot Sport from an America's Tires store in my neighborhood. I did most of my research online and when I figured out what I wanted, I went to my neighborhood America's Tires store and told them what I wanted. They actually got my set a bit less than the online cost.
