LED Side Markers (Pics)
Replaced my amber factory side markers with LED clear lens side markers yesterday. Picked them up on eBay. The finish and quality seem to be pretty good. The fitment was also perfect. Took a while to get the originals out, and put these in because it's so hard to reach. Also hard putting it back together as the LED version is hardwired and you can't take the bulb out which would it make it easier for the reinstall. This way you have to connect the wires prior to pushing it into place, which makes it a little awkward due to limited space because of the short wire. Not sure yet if I like it yet, thought I'd try it out. Looks better than the amber factory side markers though for sure. Maybe I decide to paint the factory ones in Palladium Silver to match the car, make them less noticeable. What do you guys think?

Thanks Guys. I'm still deciding myself. I kind of like it, but would prefer a clean "european" look without the side markers. I understand that they are a requirement for NA, but I think Mercedes could have at least be more creative in coming up with shape and placement. They could have placed them in a way less noticeable (kind of like my black W210 had, which i painted black, and they became invisible)...
...once the snow is gone, i'll be curious to see how long it will take till i get a ticket...our cops are ridiculous here.

hard to tell they are on in all those three pics and thanks for the pic in the dark. i was thinking about it for awhile but up until a member told me it could be cops magnet and won't pass the annual inspection. the worst thing is i don't think i'm able to swap them around myself. i gave up

Reviving the old thread. Has anyone figured out color temperature of the hockey stick LEDs? I have replace orange side markers with clear ones and also put LEDs bulbs. The aftermarket LED bulbs have slightly bluish hue compared to the color of hockey stick LEDs and I am wondering what would be the best way to match color temperature.
