Good deal or no?

I am about to pull the trigger on a 2012 E350 lease. Details below. I am looking for feedback on if I am getting a good deal or should continue negotiations. I've received about 5 quotes and this is the best deal I was able to get to date (all through e-mail and phone). I am thinking if the dealer throws in the 3 year maint plan at half price its a done deal.

Feedback is appreciated and thanks for all the great information on the site.

Here is the Quote you requested:

If leasing is your thing, I'd say if you can swing the maintenance plan for half price = DONE DEAL! Leasing doesn't work for us...especially since our commutes (wifey and I) are 80 - 100 miles each day... Mileage would rack up really quick!

I calculated it and it works out to about $51K purchase price for the car. That's a really great lease quote for a Gasoline E350! The only better deal would be on a Bluetec but you're not going to be able get 4 matic. Go for it and enjoy!

Not bad

Not bad, not fantastic either. When you get to 1% of vehicle MsRP or less per month with only bank fee and first you're there. In this case $580 per month.

A lot depends on incentives. Are you coming out of an E? Are you getting conquest cash? Hard to tell. Are they marking up the bank fee? No.

Need your purchase price to determine, looks like $7,500 off. I'd shoot for $10k off sticker if you qualify for any of the incentives. My starting point with the dealer is 10% off sticker. Without the incentives, it's a good deal.

The deal got done yesterday. Selling price was $50341 with a MSRP $58650. I basically got 9% off MSRP plus the Conquest and the dealer paid half the 3yr maint plan. I did all negotiations via e-mail and phone and was in and out of the dealer in less than an hour with a trade. I'm pleased with it and had 2 other dealers bail out of negotiations at around 8% with no maint plan discussion.

Thanks for the help and I'm sure I'll be snooping around a bit more now!

When I got my lease, I was offered the 3 yr maint plan for free at all the dealerships. Didn't even have to negotiate that.

Cool! Can't believe you did all negotiations over e-mail and phone... Dealerships usually want to get you in so they can work their "voodoo"... In and out in less than an hour? w/ a trade too?!!

He did same as mine, I didn't go to negotiate the dealer but just phone ,fax and e-mail worked great . I gotta love technology

However, I did some good search by reading the posts at both MB Forums . I have learnt a lot thanks to members posting here and there .I downloaded manuals (still yet to read them lol ) PRIOR to buying (paging a tremendous body kit manufacturer lol ) the car
