Someone keyed my sister in laws slk in LaJolla
Happened a few weeks ago to her new 12 slk. They gouged every panel. Just goes to show you no matter where your at walmart or prospect street jealous jacka$& are all over. I think she parked in a residential street and some locals or juvenile delinquits trashed her car. Total cost to repair 4000.00. Peolpe are just plain nasty? Car was 1 month old

Sorry to hear this. Haters are everywhere...that's why I avoid street parking and pay a few bucks at a parking garage. I was a victim years ago...so I know how she felt.

Sorry Man...feel for your sis totally. I always say, can't have nothing nice w/o someone trying to take it away or ruin it for you in some way!

! sorry to hear that. like what hofb99 said, i truly believe what goes around, comes around. but look at the bright side, she might want it in pink and couldn't order it through mb and it's perfect time. kiddings aside, i think it's time to get her insurance company a call. hope everything turns out ok.

So sorry to hear that. Happened to me in a Whole Foods paring lot of all places. And I have had my car for just 3 weeks then... It was "only" 2 panels but it cost about $2,500 to have it fixed at a Mercedes Certified Collision Center. At first State Farm balked at the bill because it was 2X their "allowed" payout and I had to put my foot down and say they need to pay to have the car repainted per Mercedes specs and they finally agreed.
My only recommendation for your sister is to have this done at the best body shop she can find and look into a Mercedes Certified shop if she can find one.
As bad as this is, these things "happen" but as others have said I believe in karma and it will get the animals who did this sooner or later...

She put these stupid girly eyebrows on her headlights and i told her to take that off it would only attract unwanted attention. Women never listen. I wander about these valet guys too. She also found out her comp deductible was 1000k. Who in there right mind would carry a high com deductible like that. MB told me on a lease when you turn it in a dollar bill length scratch cost 250 to repair.

david, you are not kidding, right ? those eyebrows thingies on a slk ?!!! i've seen that a few times and most were on some really rusty cars. one time on a slightly newer corolla. i really want to see it. do you have a pic 
? i think the $1k deductible is still better than $4k to repair. i hope this is a good lesson learned by her. btw, going back to my previous post, them eyebrows w/pink paint ain't that bad, huh
