My new E350 4 Matic Sedan
This weekend I traded in my 2010 C300 4Matic for a 2012 E350 4 Matic Sedan! I must say MB of Arlington really hooked me up shout out to Frank my sales guy to make this deal happen.
This car is amazing it's night and day different from the C-Class it feels solid, fast and just an all around enjoyment to drive!! I am loving it!
Black on Black with MB Tex( I felt the leather interior wasn't very sporty at all - I liked the look of MB Tex better)
Equipped:
4Matic
P2
Sport Styling Package
Wheel Package
Off to the left of one of the pics is my girls BMW 2011 335i w/ X Drive
Pics below:
The only thing you might miss is the sportier driving characteristics of the W204, but only if you like to drive enthusiastically. I like to say the W212 is enjoyable to drive, while the W204 is fun to drive.
Enjoy your new car, she's a beauty.
Regards,
Don

A couple of things to try: Someplace where it is safe to do so, try driving on the wrong side of the road. If the road has a crown in the center, you should now feel the car pulling to the left. If it still pulls right, then there might be an issue.
And, since you just bought the car, you should get a free alignment with a certain number of miles (1000?) if there is an issue. They can't just give you a misaligned car! Seriously.
EDIT: Oh, and congrats!

I agree about the M-B Tex. I personally prefer it to the leather offered as an option on the W212's for many reasons. The only thing I "wish for" from the leather cars is what I assume would be a richer smell.

As has already been suggested above, I would get your car back the dealer asap. No new car should do this, if it hasn't been abused in some way. Get the dealer to correct it before you put on too many miles for a free service or before additional problems develop.
No Mercedes should display steering directional stability problems. You shouldn't have to correct for pull and the car shouldn't drift either, except in a few highway paving situations. The car should track straight, most times with little effort on your part.
Your problem could be a mechanical issue with the car itself as you seem to suspect, or it could also be a bad new tire. If the car is pulling sharply, i.e. it takes a lot of effort on the steering wheel to keep the wheel centered and the car going straight, I'd bet on a bad tire.
Although I'm trying to play expert here (always a bad idea
), I'm not. Just speaking from my own experiences in the past. Please get it checked out.
