Do you guys notice any exterior changes to the 2013 E350 4matic as opposed to the 2012 E350?
I plan on purchasing one this week but have not decided if I should get the 2013.
Also I was hoping you guys could give me some clarification.
I went to the dealership and found a 2012 E350 4 matic with package 2. It says it has the 321 spor package: 18 inch 5 spoke alloy wheels, lowered sport suspension, sport bodystyling, front brake calipers with benz logo etc...
Should this car not come with the AMG rims? Also does the sport bodystyling mean AMG body kit?

Porsche Macan S SportDesign / Ex M-B's: 11 & 10 & 06 E350's, 02 S500
M-B's "Build Your Own" is the biggest POS. BMW's and Porsche's are FAR more advanced and accurate. Ridiculous. It really shows who has more enthusiasts who truly know the products going to build their own (it's not M-B obviously) as they demand better.

on the E350's there is a Luxury model and a Sport model, same cost. Your example is the Sport and it comes with 18" 5 spoke wheels etc. I tried to post pic of the wheels but it didn't work. 2013 wheels are 5 spokes with wide spokes, each split into a wider "half" and a narrower "half".
Sport does not equal AMG so no AMG badge.
They offer an AMG 18" replica split 5 spoke wheel for a very reasonable (IMO)
$760 as they'd probaly cost 3X that buy from MB parts. It has narrow spokes and (IMO) is a GREAT looking wheel.
The Sport model has an AMG type look but it's not true AMG and thankfully not priced like an AMG

So I want to get a 2013 e350 4matic with the (sport package for free) (Amg rims for 760) and (package 2 for $6000). All makes sense now THanks again
Also any exterior changes to the 2013 vs the 2012?

hehe, I have built one of every model I think.....
they all get the same....
but I have noticed other company site's that offer many more options and what not......but then it get's a bit confusing an frustrating......
I couldn't imagine ordering a Porche with all the optional extra's they offer....that would drive me bonkers....
I still don't see why my dealer does not have the fancy briefcase of grains, leathers and so forth.....across the street at jaguar they have many samples you can put your hands on and feel........

Its still there but their picture genration cant show you both the sport and the wheel package at the same time. I just click the sport and then clicked AMG wheels and both options got saved

Also, either they removed the two tone interiors or now all interiors are one tone themed (Almond, Ash, Black, Tan, etc.) along with the Sport models having interior color coding like the Luxury models (instead of narrow-dly black/black or black/almond like before), or as per usual, MBUSA's "Build your own" is completely inaccurate.

I was wondering what was up with the AMG wheels and the sport pack too. We tried to build a new C300 for my gf and it did the same thing with those AMG wheels as it does with the E. it just wont let you select those wheels AND the sport pack. maybe they wont be available this year with the sport pack? idk.....
