Is there Speed Limit display on GPS or dashboard ?

I have a 2012 E350 with P2. Just want to check if I can enable speed limit display on GPS --- If not I want to buy a Garmin GPS with $200 with this display.

Thanks a lot !

P.S. Thanks everybody for your replies ! Pretty much confirmed there is no Posted Speed Limit display. I just learned from other owners that Real-Time Traffic on mercedes GPS also needs monthly subscription --- Is this also true on 2012 models ? How useful did you find for the Sirius Traffic ? I only see real-time traffic display on major highways, not streets ---- so not as comprehensive as Google Map. Are you guys able to subscribe to Traffic only ?

Maybe just get a Garmin for Speed Limit, also possibly Safety Camera info, and Life-Time Map & Traffic. I am looking at 2595LMT, but it is not compatible with its own Safety Camera software, however you can download similar info from trapster.

Inputs ?

Thanks !

No there is not.

But my Garmins (and I own three of them) frequently display the WRONG speed limit.

I would personally rather keep an eye on the signs on the road than trust the GPS to tell me the speed limit.

YMMV.

Are you sure? I could swear I've seen it on mine.

Move to Germany and buy this car there for almost double price. There the car reads the speed limit signs posted on road and alarms if you are speeding.

My TomTom displays speed limits but I've never seen my Bluetec display one. It's not a huge problem for me...I'm a pretty conservative driver whose basic instinct is "keep up with traffic flow and you're OK".

Its not on the nav screen but you can add it to the dashboard (I assume when you say dashboard - you mean the center display between the streering wheel) Unfortunately you have to choose between speed limit and temperature.

Caveat that this is for my 2011:

Selecting the permanent display function
The Permanent Display: function allows you to choose whether the multifunction display always shows the outside temperature or the speed in km/h (USA) or mph (Canada).
X Press the = or ; button on the steering wheel to select the Settings menu.
X Pressthe:or9buttontoselectthe Instr. Cluster submenu.
X Press the a button to confirm. X Press : or 9 to select the
Permanent Display: function.
You will see the selected setting
Outside Temperature or Speedometer [km/h]:.
X Press the a button to save the setting.

So this shows current speed in both MPH and KPH, not posted speed limit.

The OP wanted a display of the posted speed limits.

Yes, I was answering icanectc's post where he seemed to indicate that the car would show Posted Speed Limits, but in fact will show your current speed in both MPH and KPH
