MB’s of all kinds.
Your E550 has the Airmatic sispension. The button is located to the right of the silver knob and right below the Sport/Comfort setting. Pushing that will give you different ride heights.

i believe airmatic came with all 550s? it was standard not part of a package right? or am i making that up....

It was standard in the US for 2010 and 2011. It's still standard in Canada.

When you get out of the car and you hear the "cymbal"-like hiss from the back of the car, that's your airmatic adjusting to the change in weight. You wouldn't hear sounds like that with a normal suspension.
