iOS 6 Bluetooth MAP
In other words, if you upgrade your OS and it adds new protocols, unless you unpair/re-pair, the phone's new protocol support will be unknown to Comand. The existing protocols will still work fine, but not the new.
I experienced this with BT streaming metadata. I upgraded my phone to an OS revision that supported the required protocol, but it didn't work until I re-paired the devices.

Just like others have said, delete the pairing from phone, then re-pair. Then enable "Show Notifications" as above. Restart car/Comand.
Pretty cool feature.
ble "show notifications" but it does not appear on phone. I went to the ios settings, bluetooth section, then looked at the connection. The only thing that appears after that is "Sync Contacts" and below that 3 favorites under the heading of "Group" No "show notifications". Am I looking in the wrong spot??
Thanks, Mark
Edit--Wife's 4s with IOS 6 does work. Had to wait a bit for the "Show Notifications" to come up on on the screen. Still waiting for the older phone with IOS 6 to show it. lol. Probably the phone...
