M-B recalling 5,800 '11/'12 cars over potential fires. Where to find if ours is one?
Anyone know if there's a Vin range or something? Obviously a very select few of cars, but I don't think any of us wanna chance being an unlucky one.

Hmm, yeah looks like according to the list posted on that link the E550 isn't mentioned.

that still rubs man, whenever I had a concern about a recall, my dealer didn't even know about them.......guess that's either good or bad.....

I just bought out my lease because the car has been great. My car is a late model 2011 because I have the color screen in the speedo so I have feeling I maybe affected.
They did say that if the vehicle runs rough or an indication of fuel starvation is among the first signs of trouble. Keep your insurance up to date...
