2011 Mercedes E350
Post My front cigarette port isn't working
I have a 2011 Mercedes E350 sedan (w212) an my front cigarette port does t work when I plug a charger in. The one in the back works fine but I can't seem to find the fuse for the one in the front. Can someone please help me?

looks like its time to trade in your car for a new one

did you check the connection points on the plug?

Indeed. I'll offer 75% of the new car price, after all it has a big fault.

Vartan97, did you check fuse #71 from the rear SAM, the fusebox at the trunk?

And, if it's not that fuse, which it probably is, I've discovered that the front 12V is different from the rear and trunk 12V. For some devices, you may need to play with it or use the adapter most those devices provide. Actually, it's a cheap sleeve that makes the plug fit better.

Sleeve? Picture? I have an FM transmitter that works but sometimes disconnects when I hit bumps. It came with a rubber ribbed grommet that I assume is to stabilize it but the grommet made it worse so I removed it.

I looked in the trunk of my2013 E550, and I do not see a fuse box. Where is it at?

If you did not find it I'm not sure if you need to.

Just kidding,...

In my 2010 it is behind a door panel on right side that you need to remove for access.

@dieselbenz- good call. 99% spent in finding the answer in forums. 1% on the fix. I even got to use a left over 10 amp fuse from my gate that blew a fuse in an ice storm this winter. Serendipitous.

have had this problem on my e550 , then i found it was a fuse , changed the fuse and never used that cig port after that lol
